Disabilities at Tokyo Disneyland Resort
While I was attending Waseda University last summer, I created a website dedicated to providing helpful information and translation cards to those who have disabilities and are interested in visiting the Tokyo Disneyland Resorts. I collected information online and in person for this project and created the translations. The Disney theme parks are my favorite places in the world due to their dedication to safety and story-telling. I grew up visiting their theme parks, and I continue to enjoy them. Because of this, I felt passionate about this project. There is always room for improvement, and I would love to be able to help contribute to helping make Disney a more accessible place for everyone.
Below is an example of one of the disability card sets I created and translated. I was inspired to make these cards after remembering one of my first trips to Japan. I have a severe peanut allergy, so I had paid for cards that would help me communicate my situation to others. Now that I am more proficient in Japanese, I wanted to create these cards to be able to provide free and helpful cards that will help in making Tokyo Disneyland more accessible to others regardless of disability and language.
