Personal Hobbies

In my free time, I like to re-create props and costumes from my favorite video games, movies, and shows! I am self-taught and have been cosplaying for over 10 years. Skills I have learned from this hobby range from 3D printing, sewing, to even acting!

Tron Disc

The Tron disc was my first 3D printed prop, and one of my favorites! I decided to re-create the Tron Identity Disc for the Cast previews for Tron Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom. I made changes to a pre-exisitng file from metaform3d. These changes were done in Fusion360 and included re-designing the way to get inside the disc, reducing the overall size to hold easier for women, making the inside deeper to allow for internal lighting, and reducing the amount of prints needed in order to save time and money (reduced from 6 required prints to 3). A 9V battery and LED strip were placed inside the disc to allow it to glow.

Cosplay Props and Costumes

For characters that require a weapon or prop, I typically utilize clay foam, insolation foam, and wood to re-create simple, cheap, and light replicas.
